We never forward any material to any third party. All translations are carried out in-house by ourselves. We do not subcontract. We do not share any customer information with anyone.

When the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect on May 25th, 2018, we request that all source files are anonymised before translation begins. If source files contain personal information, we will respectfully reserve the right to decline to take on the assignment.
Translation memories (TMX files or similar) created before May 25th, 2018, will no longer automatically be accepted as grounds for "sliding scales" or any other form of lowered rates. Old TMX memories may contain personal information. Consequently, new translation memories must be rebuilt from scratch.

As a result of the EU GDPR, we will now also request approval (or non-approval) of translations within 14 days from the date of delivery. If clients have not put forward any complaints or concerns regarding the translation within 14 days from delivery, the translation shall be deemed approved and the quoted price shall be invoiced in full. We will then delete all translation material. Any rework after the 14-day period is to be considered a new and separate work assignment.

The full responsibility for all material - source text as well as translation - remains with the client at all times.
